About
The most adventurous journey is not to distant lands, but to ourselves – to where we remember who we really are.

Fascination for people and their development
I have always been fascinated by people and their relationships – how we develop, grow and deal with challenges. But after leaving school, I initially took a different path: I completed a tourism apprenticeship and worked for several years in various countries, including Australia and southern Africa. I encountered different cultures and experienced a deep connection to nature and community, which play an essential role in many parts of the world. Over time, I realized that it wasn’t just the external journeys that fascinated me, but above all the inner journeys that every person takes in the course of their life.
My path to psychology
In Australia, I completed further training in the field of personal development and started giving seminars myself. I experienced how much people can grow internally when they are given space to reflect and consciously change. This realization strengthened my desire to deepen my knowledge of human experience and behavior, and so I decided to study psychology. During this time, I worked intensively with marginalized groups and gained experience in supporting people who are confronted with chronic illnesses, stigmatization or discrimination.
Professional experience
After completing my studies, I worked as a psychologist in child and youth welfare and counseled individuals, families and couples in challenging life situations. A particular focus was on supporting parents who were dealing with parenting issues, intra-family dynamics or their own role as a mother or father.
I also support couples in conflict situations and parents in separation processes – always with a clear view of what children need in these phases. People with traumatic experiences also found support in my work – be it due to early stressful childhood experiences or due to experiences of flight or violence.
Specialist specialization
In order to ensure that my work is well-founded and effective, I have completed several years of certified further training in systemic counseling and therapy, trauma education, trauma-centered specialist counseling and trauma therapy, as well as other in-depth courses, including for working with couples.
At the same time, for many years I organized seminars and workshops for adults on topics such as crisis intervention, resource activation, stress management, self-care, biography work, parenting and relationships. My work included both individual guidance and supporting groups in their development.
My therapeutic approach
All my experience, my knowledge and my therapeutic approach come together in my psychological practice. My aim is to offer a safe space where people feel understood and can deal with whatever is important to them at the time. I treat every person with respect and trust in their inner strength. I see myself as a temporary companion – in phases of pausing, sorting and growing.
My approach is characterized by a systemic and trauma-sensitive view: I do not see symptoms as deficits, but as the expression of an inner logic – arising in the context of past experiences and as an attempt to cope with life. Together we explore what can be set in motion, what can be let go, what needs to be appreciated and what could grow.
Inspiration
The sea has always been a source of peace and strength for me. As an apnea diver, I’ve learned that it’s not always about going faster or further, but about finding your own rhythm and reconnecting with yourself again and again. My therapeutic work is all about going deeper step by step – at your own pace and with consideration for your individual resources.
Every journey begins with a first step. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.
